The BASS Northern Open #2 was held on the James River, Ike Live hosts Mike Iaconelli and Pete Gluszek fished the tournament, as did scheduled guest Rick Morris. The winner of the tournament, Rick Morris, was unable to call in, but Pete Gluszek finished in 6th place in the event, and was in-studio to talk about the James River tournament and his difficulties with his boaters insurance card. Pete talks about his practice period and how he fished the tournament for a top 10 finish.
Mike, Dave and Eric the intern talk about a fishing trip they were able to take on a local lake. Mike and Dave share the James River Rumble-like video they shot where a very rude Stormtrooper encroaches on Mike's fishing spot.

All the cast of Ike Live talks about their experience with the 2017 iCast, including baits from Berkley, Savage Gear and Arashi. Mike talks about his favorite bait from Berkley this year, the Bearded Grass Pig. Iaconelli talks about the 13 fishing Concept "Z" casting reel iCast award conspiracy, after Shimano's casting reel won the award.
Aaron Martens, who was also at iCast, and recorded an awesome Duo Realis Spybait Segment for Bass University TV, call into the show to talk about his BASS Elite Series win at Lake Champlain. Martens talks about an amazing 23lb. final day to eclipse Seth Feider's 20lb+ bag to win the tournament.

There was quite a stir at about a viseo posted on social media by Charlie Machek (boat #1) of Andy Francis (boat #7), which appeared to show Francis encroaching on Machek's water. The video received a lot of attention and was dubbed "The James River Rumble". It was popular enough, in fact, that Iaconelli parodied the video with This is Not the Water You Own, BRO! James River Rumble, which was, in fact, filmed with a potato.
Ike Live welcomes Andy Francis and Charlie Machek to hear both sides of the story. You decide who was right, wrong, or if you're indifferent. In either case, confrontations happen in bass fishing tournaments, and everyone agrees, it's not what the sport is all about.

On the heels of the 2nd Annual Ike Foundation Celebrity Pro Am bass fishing tournament and Hobie Worlds qualifying kayak tournament, Ike Foundation directors Mike and Becky Iaconelli welcome pro anglers and married couple Trait and Chris Zaldain, who will be fishing in the tournament.
Trait recently placed well at the Oneida Bassmaster Open, and everyone discusses the perceptions of other anglers, co-anglers and her approach to tournament preparation. Everyone discusses the views that some folks, presumably stuck in the past, feel that women should be at home making babies and cooking, not out fishing tournaments with "the guys".

Fishing podcast host and former radio host Pat Renwick joins the Ike Live podcast. Mike and Pat talk about the origins of their fishing talk podcasts. Mike shares how his original intention was to use a live show to stay in touch and communicate with fans, and how the recorded show has grown in popularity because of convenience and accessibility.
Pat talks about his love for bass fishing and how he got started in the sport, including being on the field staff for Bagley's when he was 10 years old. Pat talks more about Stray Casts Outdoor cartoon Television.
Pete (a.k.a. Tommy Biffle-Clause) joins the show via Skype to talk about what to expect on the River at the 2nd annual Ike Foundation tournament. Pete also talks about needing redemption after the recent Oneida Bassmaster Open after being hampered by equipment issues.

Trait and Chris return for the third segment of Ike Live bass fishing talk show, recorded July 6th, 2017. This segment includes a Mark Zona karaoke duet challenge for Trait and Chris in exchange for a $1000 donation to the Ike Foundation.
